Okay, I know it’s only March 1st, but is it kinda-sorta-maybe springtime? I know I’m jumping the gun here, but I’m feeling really optimistic that spring time is just around the corner, even if we may have a few snowstorms ahead of us in the Midwest {please no though…}

Even though I shouldn’t be getting myself mentally in spring mode, I can’t really help myself these days. All I want to do is retire my bulky winter jacket, bust out skirts without tights and wear my favorite cropped jackets all day everyday. I’m a jeans girl at heart, and I love pairing my favorite pair with a cropped jacket +  a classic t-shirt or a more dressed up tank for the office. Plus you can totally justify them as being “practical” since they’re kinda warm for spring, right? Justifiable or not, I’m into it – and am quickly building up my collection.

In other news, happy hump day all! While I know it’s a little weird to say, I’ve started to have a greater appreciation of the work weeks, and most importantly – doing more things after work with friends! I’m looking forward to getting together with a few of my favorite design savvy ladies Erin and Claire tomorrow for a girls night full of wine {yessss!}, treats and finally catching up!
