Alright, I have a confession to make…
While I’m definitely not one to ever take advice from the Kardashians {and am pretty sure they’re mostly full of crap}, there is one little piece of advice I’ve taken from Kim over the years – and that’s to start my anti-aging skincare routine earlier than later. At the young age of 24, I watched Kim go on a mini tirade the one time I watched Kim on “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” about why she started her anti-aging routine in her early 20’s. From creams to serums to everything in between, Kim clearly believed in it all – and considering she doesn’t look like she’s aged a day since then, I kinda started thinking that maybe she might be on to something after all.
And if you’re not one to put your faith in Kim K. {and honestly, who could blame you…}, she’s not the only one who’s sung the praises of starting anti-aging products in your early 20’s. Demonologists, beauty evangelists and my 60-something year old mother {who definitely still looks 45, get it girl!} all can back Kim up on her love of early anti-aging products.
And while I’ve definitely tried a few over the years, I’ve become Korres Castanea Arcadia‘s #1 fan in recent weeks. I’ve always loved Korres {I even worked on their social media a few years back!} so when I heard that they had a new line available at HSN, I made a b-line for the site and tried out a few of their newest products. I’ve been a longtime Korres Lip Butter and Wild Rose Scrub enthusiast, so it only seemed right to try out their newest anti-aging products. Here’s a little breakdown of why I’m seriously in love with this line {and why you should try it out too if you’re in the market for a new anti-aging regimen!}
Korress Castanea Arcadia Night Cream: First of all, if you’re going to invest in anti-aging products, I’d always suggest trying out a night cream and under-eye cream {especially if you’re like me and tend to look a little sleepy most days!}. Korres Castanea Arcadia version is super light and nourishing, and won’t make your skin feel greasy or oily, which can happen with some anti-aging products. Not only does it make your skin less crinkly/wrinkly with continued use, but it also makes your face velvety soft.
Korress Castanea Arcadia Eye Cream: To the person who invented anti-aging eye cream, I love you so much. As someone who has a chronic case of sleepy eyes, it’s hard to cover up with concealer without making the sensitive skin under your eyes more wrinkled and dry. Not only does Korres’ version help with those pesky under eye wrinkles, but it also does wonders making puffy and dark eyes more bright and hydrated. This will definitely be joining the coveted empty bottle club in my beauty bag!
Korress Castanea Arcadia Day Cream: If you’re really looking to get your skin in tip-top shape, day cream is another anti-aging product that I never leave the house without. Besides being amazing for keeping your skin firm, it’s also gives your skin a luminescent glow, which is always a bonus in my book. Plus it smells incredible, so I often don’t have to add a spritz of perfume before I head out the door because it’s just that good. So while you may not love Kim Kardashian, I’m pretty sure she does have a point when praising the magic of anti-aging products early on. And because I’m always curious to know what other bloggers and readers think – please let me know what anti-aging products you’ve tried {and loved!} over the years! There’s always room for one more in my beauty bag 😉
Thank you to HSN for kindly sponsoring this post. All opinions are 100% honest & completely my own.
I started using an eye cream off and on for the past year or two. Even though I don’t physically see too much of a difference, I feel good knowing I’m slowly improving my skin/preventing wrinkles.
AH! I don’t do this yet but totally should, as I’ve been noticing lines. Thank you for the inspiration! Definitely need to check out Korres. Your recommendations are always the best! <3
