Bow Coat {my size on sale!} // Sparkly Pants // Sweater // Valentino Purse {in pink too!} // Necklace // Leopard Pumps
Everyone has a few pieces of clothing that make them feel like a rock-star, and when you pair them all together you basically feel like the closest version of yourself to Beyoncé, which is always a good feeling in my book!
As I’ve been trying to get a little more creative by finding new ways to wear my favorite pieces {see my diatribe right here…}, I figured there’s not better way to appreciate your faves than by wearing them all together, right? Here’s a few of my favorite pieces that always put a smile on my face – and give me a big, giant, sorta-kinda creepy smile when I get the chance to wear them all together 😉 The coziest, most magical sweater:
Call me a bore, but most of my everyday outfits consist of boots, skinny jeans and an extra comfy sweater. And 80% of the time, I’m rocking this cozy number I bought at Old Navy last year. It’s the perfect length, a light grey that goes with just about everything, and it’s extra warm to boot. Kelly and I have been known to go to blogger events wearing the same sweater, and we both swear that it’s one of our favorites. Old Navy, please look at this as an open letter to invite you to make more of these this year – I’d happily buy one in every color! That coat though:
There are few things in my closet I love more than this coat, and it had been a piece I’d been dreaming about for years ever since Liz of Sequins and Stripes wore a similar one a few years back {the girl could literally wear anything and I’d be all like, “YAS! I NEED THAT TOO THOUGH!”} Because I clearly have the emotional capacity of an 8 year-old I may or may not have teared up when I finally got this in the mail and it’s been on heavy rotation every since.
No matter the season, this coat is my go-to if I want to feel a little fancy, or dress up a more casual look effortlessly. And while I’m usually not a pink kinda gal, this light blush manages to go with everything – from jeans, to dresses to the craziest sparkly pants I own. While it was a pretty penny, it’s definitely a coat I’ll be wearing for years and years to come since it makes me feel like a million bucks {even on days where I feel like 50 cents…except for not as awesome as the rapper.) The perfect black purse:
As part of “treat yo self 2016”, I resolved to buy something I’ve been coveting every month. I know that sounds pretty silly, but after feeling like I’ve been working my booty off for the last few years – I wanted to reward myself with a little something every month for all that hard work {you can read the full scoop here!} January, I snagged this Valentino bag at Saks Off 5th {my newest, slightly unhealthy obsession} and I’ve been wearing it on heavy rotation because it’s just that good. I’m a sucker for a black purse with fun, gold accents – and this little number elevates any outfit to be a little more luxe {which isn’t always an easy feat with some of the crazy things I’ve been known to wear!} THE sparkle pants:
Every once in awhile you stumble on something you never thought you needed, but it turns out to be one of your all time favorite pieces in your closet. These sparkle pants are clearly kinda ridiculous, but I’ve been amazed how many times I’ve rocked them so effortlessly for more dressed up and everyday occasions. From Thanksgiving, to Christmas to a casual day at work, these pants have been my go-to’s when I’m feeling not so inspired by my closet. Believe me, if you don’t have a pair of sparkle pants in your life – I suggest you get some ASAP! Comfy leopard heels:
Comfy heels are a dime a dozen, but when you find a pair you suddenly find yourself humming the hallelujah chorus. While some people are glamazons walking around in heels, I can never seem to gracefully walk in a pair of 3+ inch heels {and I’ve definitely been known to trip over my own feet!} Enter these midi heel d’Orsay stunners from Sole Society that are not only the comfiest – but they’re fabulously leopard to boot. While I strongly believe every gal needs a pair of leopard heels in their life, I will always recommend this pair above the rest. Have any pretty pieces that make you feel like a million bucks? I’d love any suggestions I should add to my “treat yourself” budget in March 😉 xx
You look so cute! Loving that bow coat + leopard heel combo 😉
