I know I say it over and over and over again, but I am in love with this beautiful city. The longer I’m here, the more I fall in love, which is more than most people can say about actual relationships 😉 But in all seriousness, I don’t know if I’ll ever tire of Chicago. I still get goosebumps when I drive down Lakeshore Drive and get close to downtown, or feel elated as I drive down the Kennedy and see the skyline pop out from the distance. After 3+ years, Chicago’s still giving me butterflies and every day I fall in love over again. Cliche? Sure. 100% true? You bet. Charmingly-Styled-Blazer (10 of 20)Charmingly-Styled-Blazer (20 of 20)Charmingly-Styled-Blazer (9 of 20)Charmingly-Styled-Blazer (14 of 20)Charmingly-Styled-Blazer (5 of 20) Charmingly-Styled-Blazer (13 of 20)And while Chicago is my cup of tea every day of the week, there’s something kinda magical about early mornings downtown. I love roaming around downtown early in the morning before the hustle and bustle of the city unfolds – there’s something oddly relaxing about it all. Even though I’m not a morning person in the slightest {I usually hit snooze at least 3 times} I do love the city in the morning, especially with a cup of coffee in hand.  Caffeine + early morning walks in the winter is the best way to wake up after all!Charmingly-Styled-Blazer (12 of 20)Charmingly-Styled-Blazer (8 of 20)Charmingly-Styled-Blazer (16 of 20) Charmingly-Styled-Blazer (19 of 20)And in other news – happy happy Monday friends! I’m gearing up for my second week at the new job {eeeek!} and exploring some fun new places in the West Loop where my new office is. If any of you happen to live or work in the West Loop, I’m currently taking suggestions for places to eat, shop and of course shoot {evidently this office has lunch breaks? WHAT ARE THOSE?!?} Any and all suggestions are welcome as always 🙂

A big thanks to Blair for the photos!
