Chicago Charms: Cindy’s

Cindys (9 of 31)It’s no secret that I have mad love for Chicago, and I spend a good portion of my weekends attempting to explore all the amazing things this city has to offer {especially in the form of delicious restaurants!} And while I love exploring the city on my own, it’s even better when shared with a few of your best friends and fellow Chicago bloggers!Cindys (31 of 31)Cindys (4 of 31)Cindys (7 of 31) A few weeks back, I met up with a few of my favorite ladies, Jen {my new amazing co-worker!}, Emily, Lauren, Kit, Blair, Kelly, Jess, Erin, and Shaheen for a delicious brunch. We teamed up with the Tasting Table’s new Dine app to discover a few restaurants we could try out for a brunch and made a reservation at Cindy’s, the rooftop restaurant and bar at the top of the Chicago Athletic Association & Hotel.

I’ve been to Cindy’s a few times after work before, and I’ve always been a fan of the ambiance and incredible views of Millennium Park. And just as I anticipated, their brunch menu did not disappoint – in fact, it was one of the best I’ve had in Chicago.  We ordered far too much food {as we usually do!} and ate a few delicious shared plates on the menu. From their signature chilaquiles to classic quiche Lorraine, to the tastiest raisin french toast, everything was incredible, and I would highly recommend swinging by if you’re ever looking to take out a big group for brunch! Cindys (12 of 31)Cindy's Rooftop Chicago Athletic Association 1060-24 Cindy's Rooftop Chicago Athletic Association 1060-44 Cindy's Rooftop Chicago Athletic Association 1060-18Cindys (19 of 31) Cindys (20 of 31) Cindys (23 of 31) Cindys (24 of 31) Cindys (27 of 31)Drool-worthy, right? I would love to transported back to a weekend brunch with my favorite ladies right about now! If you’re looking to make the pilgrimage to Cindy’s for brunch {yes, it’s basically a religious experience…} make sure to make a reservation – especially if you’re going with a big group! Also, be prepared for some massive plates – everything’s served in shared plates portions {for 3-4} , so take a group or a likeminded date who’s not afraid to share.

And as I said before, the views from the balcony  are absolutely incredible. Who doesn’t need another Instagram picture of the bean, right? 😉 Cindys (16 of 31)Cindy's Rooftop Chicago Athletic Association 1060-66My favorite Chicago girls {please note us killing it with the sorority squat too!}
