You may have heard that a certain coffee shop came out with a PSL a little early this year (aka during the SUMMER!), which caused quite the stir last weekend. And while I definitely have a serious case of FOSE (fear of summer ending), I am looking forward to cozying up with candles and pumpkin spice everything now that fall is almost here. I’m sharing my easy Pumpkin Spice Chai recipe with Torani Puremade Pumpkin Spice Syrup that’s my new go-to fall drink (or if you prefer, end of summer drink depending on when you want to make it!)
After a month of traveling in August, I’m very excited to settle back into a routine back in Chicago again. I’m planning on getting back into better shape hitting the gym a few times a week, getting back on top of my finances, and spending more time cooking at home – including making my morning coffee and afternoon tea at home rather than a coffee shop. The quintessential flavor of fall is pumpkin spice everything – and while I love a latte as much as the next person, a rich and easy pumpkin spice chai recipe is the perfect cup of tea when you need an afternoon pick me up during the workweek!
Torani makes it easy to get that coffeeshop flavor right at home, and I love their Puremade Pumpkin Spice Syrup, which delivers amazing flavor without giving you anything you don’t want – like artificial flavors, preservatives. They use colors from natural sources and they’re GMO free too! It’s super easy to use, and always mixes well, whether you’re making a hot or cold beverage – and you can make endless recipes with every syrup!
Here’s my easy pumpkin spice chai recipe that I promise will become a fall staple in your household too!
Easy Pumpkin Spice Chai Recipe:
• 4 tablespoons pumpkin puree
• 2 cups milk of your choosing (I like to use skim personally, but it’s good with oat milk too!)
• 2 chai tea bags of your choosing
• 1.5 tablespoons of Torani Puremade Pumpkin Spice Syrup,
• Cinnamon for sprinkling on top!
Directions:
• On a stovetop heat pumpkin puree in a sauce pan at low heat
• Mix in the milk and stir as it warms up, whisking to break up the pumpkin
• Add 2 tea bags to the milk and pumpkin mixture and let steep for 2 minutes
• Once steeped, add to a mug and pour in your Torani Puremade Pumpkin Spice Syrup,
• Use a hand held milk frother to add foam, or use a separate frother to add foam
• Add a dash of cinnamon on top and enjoy!
It’s basically like a cozy cup of fall in your mug every day, and it’s perfect to warm up with while working or hanging around at home on a weekend. The Torani syrup makes it super easy to make, and I’m planning to whip up a ton of other pumpkin spice beverages with the syrup this season too. Will share any other creations worth noting on the blog as I experiment more!
