CS Gift Guide: For the Beauty Junkie

And just like that, the holidays are almost here! Which is great and magical and lovely, but also really freaking stressful. I always leave shopping for gifts to the last minute, but this year I’m headed to Portugal, which means I have to get shopping a little earlier than usual. Not going to lie, buying all my Christmas gifts, shipping them and wrapping them in less than 2 weeks is making me a little nervous, but hopefully they’ll be a Christmas miracle to get everything done on time!

First off my list are gifts for my girlfriends, co-workers and beauty loving cousins – so I’ve pulled together a few of my favorite beauty gifts which are sure to make even your hard-to-shop-for friends happy.

Here are a few of the highlights (although honesty, I love them all!)

1.Henne Lip Polish: A must when you live in Chicago and your lips are super chapped – and I love that there’s a clean beauty option that smells so good. I bought mine at home in “rose diamonds” and it smells delicious and works like a charm – even when my lips are super chapped from the Chicago wind.

2. RMS Lip, cheek and eyes palette: My favorite RMS trio of colors that’s perfect for eyes, cheeks and lips.

3. One Love Organics Skin Savior: One of my first (and still favorite) clean beauty products – One Love Organics became famous for this amazing clean beauty balm that wipes away makeup, or is the perfect moisturizer that’s coconut based – so it’s super hydrating and smells delicious! I’ve had this in my beauty cabinet for years, and I’ll keep buying it again and again when it runs out.

4. Rituel De Fille Alchemist Highlight Intensifier: I’ve had my fair share of disappointing highlighters (so many are hit or miss!), but this one is both amazingly sparkly AND it’s clean, a win-win in my book! It has the perfect amount of shine, and the luminous white one looks pretty as an eyeshadow, cheek and all around highlighter without being too overwhelming. 10/10 would buy again 🙂

5. Lila Lipstick: Women on average consume over 5 lbs of lipstick in their lifetime (ewwww), so it’s one of the most important beauty products to have that’s clean. And on of my favorite clean beauty lipsticks is Lila, which has bright, bold colors and actually lasts.

6. Le Labo Santal Perfume: One of my favorite perfume brands (and the best, subtle woodsy scent). I’ve had mine for years and it lasts forever.

7. Saint Jane CBD Serum: I started using St. Jane’s CBD serum after I got it as a free sample after I bought a few things from Credo beauty, and I instantly fell in love with how deeply hydrating and detoxifying it was! It’s an antioxidant packed serum with 500 mg of full-spectrum CBD plus 20 potent botanicals that boost your skin’s natural glow – not to mention it smells pretty good too!

8. Drunk Elephant A-Passioni Retinol Cream: One of my go-to products I’ve been using all year (once you get over 30, retinol is your new best friend :)). I love all Drunk Elephant products, and this one is great for adding retinol into your daily skincare routine without the harsh, burning effects. It’s made with rich ingredients to diminish the look of fine lines, wrinkles, and sun damage, and I usually mix it with a moisturizer or serum to keep my skin hydrated at night.

9. Tata Harper Illuminating Eye Cream: Another product I always have in my beauty cabinet, Tata Harper’s illuminating eye cream is made with real diamonds (crazy, I know…) and lluminates, hydrates, and minimizes the look of dark circles to make yourself look awake – even on days where you’re dragging to work.

10. Goop Body Scrub: Anyone else’s skin extra stressed during the holidays? For your workaholic best friend, this Goop Body Scrub instantly exfoliates but also gives you some much needed stress relief!

11. Skin Gym Rollers: For the friend who maybeeee isn’t into crystals quite yet, but is definitely into a relaxing facial you can do at home – this gift if for her. I used to be skeptical of face rollers, but turns out their pretty magical and your skin actually looks super radiant after using the rollers.

12. RMS Beauty Palette: This is my go to palette for anything – whether it’s a subtle look for the office, a smokey eye for going out, or every day wear – and I love that it comes with the perfect blush and highlighter colors too.

13. Dyson Hair Dryer: One day, when I magically win the lottery, this would be one of the top 5 things I’d buy. It’s the best hair dryer and makes your hair smoother, silkier and perfectly blown out every time you use it. I’ve borrowed it from friends at weddings and weekend trips and it’s totally worth the hype – and the price tag. If you’re looking to splurge on a beauty gift, this is the mother load of beauty gifts.

14. Kosas Blush: Another amazing clean beauty brand, their blush is magical, and I love that you can get two pretty shades for the price of one.
