Why Everyone Needs a Linen Jumpsuit This Summer

White Linen Jumpsuit and Heels from Gordmans

Happy Monday friends! It’s been a little quiet here over the past few weeks, but I’m getting back in the swing of things over here despite a busy summer. I always think I’m going to be such a productive blogger in the summer (you know, the weather’s nice! I can wear dresses!), but then I find myself getting busier with travel and weddings, and enjoying the weather in between. You know, when it’s not raining every day in Chicago 😉

Now that summer’s in full swing, I’ve been getting excited for so many fun events in the city – from Jazzing at the Shedd, summer weddings, summer dates and get togethers with girlfriends. I usually do a good job with my fall wardrobe, but my summer wardrobe could use some serious TLC – so I’ve been working to find some classic pieces for summer that won’t break the bank – like this amazing linen jumpsuit I scored from Gordmans a few weeks ago.   Godman’s is my go-to destination for summer essentials – from home decor, entertaining parties, or summer style, Gordman’s has everything at an incredibly affordable price. Gordman’s is an off price retailer, which means that they sell the excess clothing items and décor of other department stores at a fraction of the price. This means that you’re able to buy brand names you love for a steal, and makes every trip to Gordmans an adventure because you don’t know exactly what you’ll find every time you visit. I love to spend hours walking around the store hitting up every aisle to find a bargain for decorating my home or planning my next summer party. It’s also an amazing place to get gifts (and cross of a few things on people’s wedding or baby registry for a fraction of the price too!)

I’ve found so many pieces from some of my favorite brands for an amazing steal at Gordmans, like this amazing linen jumpsuit for under $25! It’s super cozy and the perfect length with a pair of heels, and I love the wrap around details that make it a little more casual. Paired with these $30 powder blue tie up heels (that look just like a pair I’d been eying for over $150 online) it’s one of my new go-to summer looks for dressy occasions. I’m planning to wear this jumpsuit to Dinner En Blanc later this summer (a fun outdoor event where everyone is encouraged to wear white!), and a few other dressier dinners and events around town. Plus, I love that it’s so breezy and airy anything linen is in the summer, which makes the crazy hot midwest summer days not quite so miserable – especially when you have to dress up!

If you haven’t checked out Gordmans yet – you definitely should stop by! You can find a store near you right here. I’d love to know what you find on your Gordmans adventure 🙂   What are you guys up to for the holiday? I have two weddings back to back – one on the 4th of July, and then one the following weekend. I’m planning to be back in Madison with my family in between, and then head up to Door County Wisconsin for a few days off. I’m crossing my fingers it doesn’t rain, but the forecast doesn’t look too promising. Here’s to hoping the sun decides to make an appearance for a hot minute this summer 😉

Thanks to Gordmans for sponsoring this post! As always, all opinions are my own. Thanks for supporting the brands that make Charmingly Styled possible!
