Happy Monday! Today’s an extra happy Monday because I took the day off to spend time with my family after Easter. We had the extended family over for dinner last night and we all ate our weight in BBQ ribs and pistachio cake (mmmmm!). I’m taking the day to recover, clean out my inbox and spend some quality time with my parents before heading back to work nice and early tomorrow morning. That 5:30 AM wake up call is going to be extra brutal – but worth getting a few extra hours of family time for 🙂
Today’s pose is going to be short and sweet so I can spend some time with my family, but I had a few links around the internet and a super fun Nordstrom event I wanted to share with you guys! Here’s a little round up of things that have made me happy around the internet, and more details on a beauty event I’m so excited to check out in a few days!
Things I’m Loving:
- I just discovered Reel (through an Instagram ad), but it’s this genius new website that helps you save for some of the splurge-worthy items you have been dreaming of buying (aka a Gucci purse if you’re me…). It connects to your savings account and tells you how much you need to save every day (for a certain amount of days) to save up for the handbag, designer dress, couch, or whatever else you’ve been coveting. I’m planning to save up for a purse and I’ll make sure to share how my progress is going in the coming weeks!
- I’m newly obsessed with Dreamy Presets preset packs for anyone else who’s a budding photographer. They have the most beautiful Millennial Pink presets that are in fact, the dreamiest. I’m hoping to download them next weekend and take a stab at editing some photos – so if anyone would like to be my willing photography victim, please let me know 🙂
- Target is launching a Hunter boots collection on April 14th, and I miiiiiiiight actually wait in line for for it because it’s just that good. Also, these pink slip on sandals just went on sale and I’m obsessed….you need them, stat!
I’m SO excited that Anthropologie Home is now at Nordstrom (and there are so many home decor, bedding and furniture pieces that I love!). I’ve been eyeing up a few pieces to help make my home feel a little more springy, so I’ll make sure to share if I end up making the splurge. 
I’m also excited that Nordstrom is having one of their upcoming beauty events across the country (and coming up in Chicago too!). Every New York Fashion Week, Nordstrom goes backstage to assess the biggest beauty trends and then brings this intel direct to their customers, and for this Spring 2018 season, they’ve identified beauty trends like Luminous Skin and Hi-Definition Lips.
At their upcoming beauty events around the country, you can learn how to achieve the freshest runway-inspired looks of the season and get free samples and exclusive gifts with your purchases (while supplies last!).
