Hey there friends! I just got back from a whirlwind trip to Yosemite and it was absolutely beautiful. It was a quick 4-day trip, but we got to enjoy some seriously scenic views, hiking up to waterfalls, making lots of s’mores and enjoying being in nature (without a computer or phone) for a few precious days.
We spent a few nights camping in their Housekeeping camps, which was more camping than I’ve done in a few years – but pretty nice to enjoy a few nights out in the wilderness close to the stars and the Redwoods. And while it was definitely nice to feel a little closer to nature, my skin definitely suffered (the sunburn from our 10-mile hike didn’t quite help either 😉). So now that I’m home I’ve been determined to amp up my skincare game and get my skin ready for warner weather here in Chicago – which I’ve been told is coming…hopefully soon!

It’s made with organic ingredients like date nut oil, Tamanu oil (to help with dryness and smooth scars), olive oil and sunflower seed wax to restore your skins protective layer. I’ve been using it to both take off my makeup (it feels like it’s literally melting my makeup off!), moisturize my face, as well as a super nourishing lip balm.
Plum Elixir Rejuvenating Beauty Oil: This rich beauty oil is the most nourishing and moisturizing oil I’ve ever used, and it’s become a must before bedtime to really give my dry skin a little TLC. You can use this beauty oil from head to toe – as a hair serum, face oil and all over your body for some seriously luxurious moisturization. I’m definitely rocking a very glowy nighttime skin look (aka I proudly look like a glazed donut!) by putting a few drops all over my face before heading to bed. I love that it works like a charm, but the oil is sustainability up-cycled from the kernel of the French plum and is vegan, waterless and made with four organic, food grade seed oils. I love that the serum smells amazing, and it works even better than the serums I’ve bought in the past, with this at half their price.
