Nothing gets you into the holiday spirit like dressing up your dog in a holiday sweater. And this year we thought he looked so handsome that it was only fair we get holiday pictures to celebrate. Ray and I tried to look as good, but clearly we failed in comparison to his beauty 🙂

 

This morning I got bamboozled into a downloading a free trial of an app that puts together the highlights of your photo gallery, and I put together a 2 and a half minute video of the best moments of the year. And while I look back and think of 2021 as a bit of a rollercoaster of a year, it was nice to see all the warm and fuzzy moments with family, friends and traveling (you know, back when we were able to do that again…). From South Carolina, to Tahoe, to San Francisco, to Colorado, to Ireland and Napa, we had a whirlwind year traveling, celebrating with loved ones, and enjoying another beautiful trip around the sun. My end of year video was also mostly videos of Milo in the snow and sleeping on the couch, which I’ve come to understand is equally as thrilling as traveling around the world.

I’m taking the next few days to relax and unwind from everything 2021 gave us (the good and the bad) and gearing up for what I’m hoping is the best year yet. 2022, don’t fail us – even if you do sound like 2020 – 2….

I hope you and your family (chosen or otherwise) enjoy some much deserved R&R between the holidays! It’s the time of year to embrace sweat pants, getting too much sleep, and dusting off those holiday cookies/bottles of wine before we all hit (or don’t hit) our New Years resolutions in 2022. I can’t wait to head to California to get together with Ray and spend some sunshiny days hiking, eating In & Out, and relaxing before the New Year. Hopefully it’s as relaxing as I’m anticipating! xx
