I was thrilled to partner with Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day to celebrate Earth Month! I’ve been a long time fan of the brand, so I’m thrilled to be sharing all the reasons why I love the brand. Thanks for supporting the brands that make Charmingly Styled possible!

Is it just me, or does it seem like 2021 is FLYING? I’m already wrapping up quarterly reports at work, and it feels like the year really just started – and now we’re already into April. I love April for a lot of reasons (if you live in Chicago, it finally starts to not feel quite as much like winter come April!), but especially because we get to celebrate the Earth all month long. And truly, we don’t give Mother Earth enough love as it is, so it’s always important to take stock in the ways we can be a little kinder and more cognizant of doing little things that can make a big difference.

I like to take Earth Month as an opportunity to reflect on the ways that I can help make little changes in my every day to better the earth. I try to think about what can I start, stop, and continue doing to make my impact on the environment a little less. And I try to be more conscious about the decisions I’m making when it comes to what I buy, how much I’m consuming, and how I can be more effective at reducing waste too. I also try to reflect on the brands I buy and how they treat the earth too – especially when it comes to beauty and cleaning products. Luckily for me, Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day cleaning products have always been an easy choice for my home. They’re rooted in goodness, and the brand is conscious about how they treat the earth – from the ingredients they use, to being biodegradable, to making sure their packaging is recyclable too. I buy my Mrs. Meyer’s products at Kroger, and they always have a wide selection of cleaning products and scents based on my needs. They’re the only products that truly wash down the drain, are made with plant-derived ingredients, and are Leaping Bunny certified (aka they’re free of animal derived products and are never tested on animals <3). And when it comes to their packaging, they make sure their beautiful bottles are recyclable, BPA free and they even make sure that they use 30% post-consumer recycled material in their packaging – so they’re really thinking about how to close the loop for the full cycle of their product. Ingredients in my cleaning products are super important to me (they touch your skin after all!), so I’m super thankful that all Mrs. Meyer’s products are made without artificial colors, phthalates, chlorine bleach, parabens, and phosphates. Plus, have you smelled their products?! I’m currently on a big Lavender kick, but they come in other scents like Lemon Verbena Peony, Honeysuckle and more.
