If there’s one thing my dear friends know about me, it’s that I’m usually late to the party – both literally and figuratively. If there’s a party one of my sweet friends is throwing, I’m usually about 15 minutes late. Similarly, when it comes to work, I roll in right on time {give or take 15 minutes}, and when it comes to new stores in the area, I’m usually the last to know – but super excited to celebrate!

A month or so ago, Uniqlo finally came to Chicago, and I couldn’t be more pumped to welcome them with open arms. Jimmy had been excited since the summer, and when they opened in the fall, I had to join the celebration myself too. I snagged this incredibly cozy poncho just in time for cold weather, and it’s been my go-to work wear for those days where I want to stay comfy, cozy and still fashionable. It’s basically like wearing a chic blanket, without having to feel too frumpy about it. Clearly, I’m a BIG fan 😉   I styled my new wardrobe staple with comfy leggings {these J.Crew Pixie pants will always be my go-to!}, Wolverine boots and a few sparkly accessories.
